Voices of Hope aims to create and implement change for mental health, whilst providing hope through the voices of those with lived experience. Through advocacy, campaigning and storytelling, Voices of Hope produces strategy and content with intent to influence global, communal and individual change. Period Poverty – The Foodbank Project (Salvation Army)

The Foodbank Project provides an easy way for Kiwis to donate everyday essential food and grocery items online to families in need through The Salvation Army. One in five Kiwi women have had to miss out on school and work because they couldn’t afford period products. The Foodbank Project makes sanitary products easily available to donate through their Women’s Bundle and educates donors about the importance of fighting period poverty. Support the Foodbank Project to end period poverty in NZ!

Endometrioses – Endometriosis NZ

Endometriosis NZ supports the 130,000 people in NZ suffering with endometriosis and their whānau. They do this through their me™ programme with high school students, ENDO HELP support as well as working for you with Government to make your endo journey easier. Endometriosis NZ’s mission is to achieve the best management of endometriosis in our society. Support Endometriosis NZ to advocate for those suffering with Endometriosis and raise awareness for this horrible disease!

FAQs are

  1. Am I eligible to apply?
    The U by Kotex #SheCan fund is open to all New Zealand residents aged 13 and over. Employees of agencies associated with this campaign are ineligible to enter.
  2. How many times can I vote?
    You can only submit 1 vote.
  3. How much time is the Snapchat SheCan Fund Lens active for?
    You will be granted a 1 hour access to the SheCan snapchat lens every time you enter through the Snapcode. You can reactivate the lens if you snap the Snapcode again (yet note there are limitations on how many times you can vote – see above FAQ 2 for more info).
  4. How can I check that my vote has been counted?
    Your vote is confirmed after you send a snap/video using one of the three SheCan Fund filters on snapchat and send to @ubykotexaunz. You can keep a close eye on the results through the live tracker which will be updated regularly on this page.
  5. When does voting start and end?
    Voting will be open 24/08/20 – 20/09/20. Voting will close 11:59pm NZST 20/09/20.
  6. Who selected the 3 causes which are being supported?
    We asked girls in New Zealand aged 16-30 which causes from our list were most important to them and Mental Health, Period Poverty and Endometriosis came up as causes Kiwi women cared about. U By Kotex then selected 3 organisations which we thought would benefit from our donation, we wanted to ensure that the organisation would be local.
  7. How will the $50,000 NZD be split between the 3 organisations?
    The outcome will be completely determined by your vote. The percentage of votes each cause receives will determine the percentage of the fund we donate to each fund. The Votes and percentages will be calculated by Mish Guru Limited NZBN – 9429041293614, 101 Pakenham St W, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand.
  8. Will my application be shown to anyone?
    All snaps and videos sent to @ubykotexaunz may be used by Kimberly-Clark Australia Pty Limited (KCA) for marketing purposes. Your photos and videos may be reviewed and stored by Mish Guru Limited NZBN – 9429041293614 (Mish Guru), 101 Pakenham St W, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand. Both KCA and Mish Guru will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
